Barbara fosters kittens, mostly bottle
babies, for a local rescue group. It has a cooperative arrangement with
another rescue in WV and in 2006 the WV group agreed to accept some of the
NC unadoptable cats and asked that it send a 14 year old gray Persian in
exchange. As a result, The Magoo Room was asked to take in this majestic
cat, named MOOTANG. None of the rescue groups can operate in a vacuum. We
often help and cooperate with each other, and I was delighted to be able
to help both rescue groups, but most of all, provide a home for Mootang.
He was with us for almost 2 years before he passed away from kidney
problems.
