We were incorporated in NC in February 2005 and were granted 501 ( c ) 3 status effective February 9, 2005. We decided not to compete with other local rescue groups for funds, as they are doing an important job of spaying and neutering a large number of animals and we are helping comparatively few. We are currently selling donated used books on Amazon and eBay to raise money to cover our large vet bills, but we can certainly use your support as many of our cats have ongoing health concerns that often require daily medications and/or treatment and frequent visits to the vet. and click on verify. That will verify that we are a charity listed with
GoodSearch. After we are verified, go to the FIRST area where you can enter the
website to which you wish to go. That’s all there is to it. Once you verify The
Magoo Room, you will never need enter that information again, but you will need
to go to the GoodSearch site and enter a web address each time. To further
simplify you could make GoodSearch your default search engine. See the
GoodSearch website for instructions. Each time you search through GoodSearch, we

Commerce St. is off of Arlington Blvd. between Greenville Blvd. & Evans St. We
can use ANY books. Fiction, non-fiction, cookbooks, text books (from 2000 or
later,) children’s books, old, new, hardcover, paperback, etc. Also of interest
are any 45 rpm records, CD’s, DVD’s and audio cassettes.
I have, and am willing to
try to sell miscellaneous items on ebay. In general, these items must be
"findable" and relatively small and lightweight. For example, if you have a
pretty cat statue I could probably not sell it on ebay. I can, however, sell a
Lenox cat statue. The difference is the brand name that makes it findable.
Weight of the items is very significant. I could not sell a used television for
a penny, if it is going to cost $50 to send it. I have previously sold donations
of needlework kits, embroidery threads, needlework booklets, new collectible
Christmas ornaments, name brand discontinued flatware, Halloween and Christmas
decorations, linens in very good used condition, and hand knit scarves.
